Great location near the Forbidden City. The hotel had a charming, boutique atmosphere and a helpful reception area. The staff, despite limited English, were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent and affordable.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the main attractions. We loved that there were plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, giving us lots of dining options. The hotel provided us with a warm shower and enough toiletries, making our stay comfortable. we enjoyed having the option to choose between Chinese and English breakfast, both of which were delicious.
There were a couple of things that could have been better. The beds were a bit hard, which might not suit everyone's preferences.

Gorgeous building. Huge room for 2 adults + 2 kids. Charming and traditional with nooks to explore. Decent complimentary breakfast. Lovely and helpful staff. Amazing location by the Forbidden City. Peaceful and spa-like ambiance.

This hotel was a hidden gem, tucked away in a traditional hutong alley near the Forbidden City. The location couldn't have been better, with Tiananmen Square just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable large bed and a unique central patio view. We also appreciated having breakfast included, which was a nice touch.
No negative aspects - everything was just perfect.

The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and traditional. The staff are wonderful and use a great app for communication. Breakfast is delicious, and the beds are very comfortable. Perfect location near landmarks.

I had a great stay at this hotel! the location was perfect - nestled in a traditional alley, it gave me a genuine taste of old Beijing. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were always friendly and attentive. Lastly, the room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Oh, and breakfast was included too, which was a nice bonus!
The only minor issue I encountered was that the heating in the room could have been better.
